Loud Noise Between Washer Cycles My Washer Machine Manual Says The Water Supply Pressure Must Be Between 14.5 And 116 Psi. How Can I Tell?

My washer machine manual says the water supply pressure must be between 14.5 and 116 psi. How can I tell? - loud noise between washer cycles

I bought a new washer and dryer. When the washing machine makes a noise in the pipes and loud explosions. Not sure what the problem. Maybe the water pressure is high?

Most of the water for a household in the range of 30 to 40 psi. Typically 32 to 35 in the pressure tank, less desire, to the highest level.

The noise is like a hammer falls, the air in your ranks, not the machine. Maybe get a bucket, disconnect the wires at the back of the washer and let him get rid of that air can get stuck in the pipes.

Water hammer is usually caused by too small a supply line for water demand of the disc, in this case. The water pressure should be about 40 psi, if you have installed more pressure regulating valve. The effect of the tube that the water velocity to be higher, so that when the valve closes it pops. It arest hammer this point in the supply valve and the washing machine is connected. Available at most plumbing stores. Another thing you can do is turn off the water supply of the washing machine a little bit and see if the noise stops or changes. Remember, you can fill the washing machine on a timer so you do not do not close the valve to the point where the machine is not full. If the machine is filled by weight, filling up just a little slower.

Looks like a problem of water hammer have. Although, as some have claimed there is no air in the channels. Quite the contrary. Air can compress, but the water does not. Your new washing machine can cut faster and stronger with their old washing machine to give the water moves do not go high velOSity. This leads to water hammer. Water hammer arresters can be installed on valves http://www.siouxchief.com/Supply/Arreste ...

The strong explosion is more likely that the water hammer is actually air in the pipes. He will probably be a plumber or someone to fix the very experienced in this situation. You can buy pressure gauges that screw water in your taps, pipes, and as you say, the water pressure.

You can buy a device that connects to a tap water hose. You can connect to anyth point there is a tap water hose. The washing machine or abroad. I seriously doubt that the pressure exceeds 116psi. What we need is a device, the water hammer, or what you need and prevent the expansion tank. Tell the man at the hardware that is done to avoid pressure shock.

I would be surprised if the water pressure exceeds 116psi, the problem is most likely that the pipe is not properly insured, and that adaptation to ensure that the water intake from tap water. This could ultimately result in a pipe failure, if not corrected.
